Shrimp Acclimation Kit:
Acclimating shrimp is an important step when you first receive your shrimp because it can reduce shock, death, and stress by slowly introducing them to their new aquarium environment.
You want to use the Shrimp Acclimation Kit for at least 40 minutes at 1 drip per second by adjusting the valve that is included in the kit.
Included With Kit:
1 x airline hoses
1 x adjustable valve
Items You Need:
1 x container for shrimp
1 x shrimp safe net
How To Acclimate Shrimp:
Step 1. Place your new shrimp inside your clean container. You'll want a container that is tall and wide enough to add at least .5 gallons of new water.
Step 2. Take one end of the airline and place it inside your existing aquarium(where your new shrimp will eventually go in).
Step 3. Now that your airline is inside your aquarium, you'll want to take the other end and siphon water(we usually use our mouth to siphon) into the clean container. Ensure the valve is slightly open and adjust it as needed to get 1 drip per second.
Step 4. Once your shrimp have been acclimated for 40 minutes to 1 hour, scoop them out with your shrimp safe net and release them into their new tank.
